Rat Control Products
In 2015, the District's policy on baiting for rats changed due to the concern of secondary poisoning to other animals and wildlife. The current rat program focuses on education and control of rats through exclusion, source reduction and snap traps.
In rare instances bait may still be used. For residents who currently have bait on their properties, this is the information for the rodenticide.
Note that on September 23, 2014, OCMVCD switched from using Contrac All-weather Cake to Contrac All-weather Blox.
